Robert MacLean

RobertRobert
Robert began his working career in the web server hosting world, where he supported and developed code (in Delphi!) for the environments. It was in these environments he got exposed to the joys of Linux and later that enthusiasm for Linux and Open Source motivated him to an IT start-up where he developed all the code for the systems which were mostly Linux based. From that he moved to development on Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft SharePoint. His passion to knowledge transfer, sharing stories and always wanting to experiment and learn the latest technologies eventually took him out of the client focused world and led him to join the ATC team at Barone Budge and Dominick. When Robert is not working he spends his free time mountain biking or cycling on the road or relaxing with his wife at home.

Robert regularly blogs about development at http://www.sadev.co.za

Zayd Kara

ZaydZayd
Our website administrator and server evangelist.

Zayd started his working life as a banker working in Home Loans for a South African Bank. Initially he was responsible for MIS reporting within the banking business units after which he moved formally into IT as the Infrastructure Manager for the Testing Laboratory for Nedbank. His own passion for computers in general and Microsoft Technologies specifically resulted in him moving to Barone, Budge and Dominick (BB&D) in 2001.
